Community Living/Long-term Care


AUCD actively works on legislation aimed at increasing the provision of supports and services for people with disabilities in the community. AUCD's work in long-term services and supports addresses issues concerning non-acute health, community living, employment supports, housing, respite care, and other family and individual supports that enable individuals with disabilities of all ages to be independent and productive members of the community.






Tuesdays with Liz: David Goldberg on Kavanaugh's Disability Rights Record

This week, Liz sits down again with David Goldberg to discuss Brett Kavanaugh's nomination to the Supreme Court. They discuss a Circuit Court Ruling by Kavanaugh that undermined the civil rights of three women with intellectual disabilities.
